1. Express Gratitude...
Take a moment to send a few mental Thank You's out into the world...for seeing another day, for family and friends, for having your health, your job, a roof over your head, or for whatever you situation may be. Realizing you are already living in a blessed state of being, helps to energize your day.
2. Thump the Thymus:
The next three suggestions are adapted from Donna Eden's book Energy Medicine and should be part of everyone's daily routine to help strengthen and energize the body. The thymus gland contributes to the development of a strong, healthy immune system. By tapping on this area first thing in the morning, and then a few more times throughout the day, we are keeping this gland stimulated. So where is the
thymus? Picture Tarzan pounding the center of his chest, what he really was doing was activating the thymus before moving into action. Take a page out of his book to start the energy flowing into your day.
3. Rub the K-27 Points:
The K-27 points are very special points on the body! These points are also used in EFT (emotional freedom technique) to activate the energy system to flow in the correct direction. K-27 will help to strengthen the immune system, improve concentration and alertness. To find K-27 (which is the endpoint of the Kidney meridian) place your fingers at the ends of the collarbone, then slide fingers toward the middle of the collarbone, then drop down about an inch. You will feel a slight indentation. The points often hurt when first stimulated, but this decreases as they are regularly worked. Tapping or rubbing these particular spots will send a wake up message to the brain to adjust your energy so you feel more alert. Getting drowsy during the mid-afternoon meeting with the boss? Work these points!
4. Activate the Spleen Points:
These are neurolympathic points on your spleen meridian, which like the two above will help boost the immune system, energize the body, and balance blood chemistry. How can I locate these points? They are the depression between the 7th and 8th rib, just below the level of the breastbone or sternum. Move your hands beneath your breasts, straight under the nipples, then move down over the next rib. Just like the points mentioned above, they may hurt when being stimulated if not done regularly.

5. Dry Brush Your Skin:
Before hopping into the shower, get into the habit of doing a dry brushing of your skin. This technique has numerous benefits such as helping with detoxification, stimulating circulation, increasing cell renewal, cleaning the lymph system, and strengthening immunity to name a few. Using a long handled brush with natural bristles (no synthetic please!), begin to brush the skin. Keeping the brush dry, begin at the feet, and work your way up toward the heart. With vigorous strokes, brush in a circular manner, covering all areas of the body until you reach the heart area. Then begin at the head, and work down, again toward the heart, covering the rest of the body. By the time you are finished, your shower will be for cleansing and not for waking you up.
6. Shower Visualization:
As you wash yourself physically in the shower, try a visualization to clean the energy field that surrounds you (your aura) containing psychic debris. Visualize a light coming through the showerhead along with the water, I like to picture a vibrant violet light. As the light touches the body, imagine it burns off or transmutes any energetic waste that is clinging to your aura, the water will then wash away the subtle particles as they loosen their grip. By the end of the shower, you feel very refreshed!
7. Oil Up:
Once you step out of the shower, all tingly now from each of the prior steps, oil up with one of the best skin conditioners- natural organic coconut oil. There is one absolutely sure fire way of jump starting your small or medium sized business and getting the recession behind you. Implement an Incentive Compensation pay program at your company like you have thought about for some time. Many small business owners believe that bonus compensation is something they dream of putting in place because only large successful companies can afford this perk. Every one of my clients now has some form of an incentive compensation pay package and is delighted with the results.
Small and medium size business owners continuously struggle with finding competent professionals that want to work at a small company without all the great fringe benefit packages large companies can afford. An incentive compensation program, in my opinion, is the great equalizer for small and medium companies. What motivated individual doesn't want a career where they can truly determine their annual pay? With the national unemployment rate heading past 9% over the next few months, overhaul your pay structure and not only re-energize your employees but find great talent you never dreamed available at this stage of your development.
Incentive Compensation programs are not the addition of bonuses to your current hourly and salary pay programs. A superior incentive compensation program is comprised of a "livable" base pay and a substantial bonus program earned by achieving measureable company goals. Bonus compensation should be intertwined with an employee's base pay.
There are only three things you have to do to get started - A. Include every employee in an incentive compensation program, B. Do not overcomplicate it and C. Make it fair.
Most business owners assume that incentive compensation only pertains to sales people or those employees who have direct customer contact. The next time you escort a potential customer through your business, think about how that clean restroom or the smile on your receptionist's face affected your potential customer. Every employee has a hand in customer service. Do your employees use the term "they" to describe your company or do they use the term "we?" An incentive compensation program provides an ownership experience to all employees and the term "they" will be forgotten by all employees.
It is not difficult to put together an incentive pay program covering all personnel but thought and care should go into the formulation of any pay plan because your employees are your most important asset. What are the annual and long term goals of your company? The answer to that question will give you the basis for each employee's incentive program.
The next important step is not to spend weeks or months trying to get it perfect and enlist a mathematician to work in all the details. Start it out simple and make sure it is easy for all employees to understand and calculate their own pay. I advise most small businesses to start out with just a "Net Operating Profit Bonus" plan if you have nothing at the present time. This can be paid out monthly, quarterly or even annually depending on your cash flow. The calculation is very simple and easy to understand. The bonus is simply a small percentage of your company's net (after tax) operating profit shared by all employees. Try this for a year and then start expanding the bonus program to hone in on the annual goals for your departments and divisions. You will be amazed at how many employees start turning out lights, stop wasting copy paper and think about ways to increase "their" bottom line. They now have a direct monetary impact on their own payroll and will find amazing ways to increase their bonus. Remember, if you set the bonus amount at 5% of your net operating profit, the company will retain approximately 60% of any after tax profit increase. This is a great return for any company.
Regardless of how you set up your bonus system, it must be communicated to all employees regularly to be a motivating tool. Also, if you reduce base salaries and make the incentive bonus a more material part of your overall program, I recommend paying the bonus monthly, at least for the first six months, to allow your employees to rearrange their personal financial structure. We all get accustomed to a certain weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cash flow and arrange our payments to meet our cash flow.
Most companies expand their incentive programs to encompass departmental goals and even individual goals. Providing a bonus to all parts department employees when the department has a 100% attendance rate, if attendance is your problem, or even a bonus when customer quality surveys come back with a 10% increase in satisfaction are easy yet effective methods to increase the company's bottom line. Your accounting department can easily calculate the cost/benefit relationship for the bonus.
Finally, the bonus program has to be fair for all your employee programs. This doesn't mean that it should be equal for all employees unless all your employees have the same salary. I do, however, recommend using a weighted average to divide the bonus between all employees. The weighted average I have used many times for the "Net Operating Profit Bonus" is the number of months the employee has been working this year multiplied by the employee's annual performance appraisal multiplied by the employee's annual earnings. This weighted average calculation helps to implement the fairness of a company bonus across all your employees.
The one issue that irritates me whenever it is addressed is the idea that any bonus should be capped at some arbitrary dollar amount to keep employees from earning too much money. This is absolutely the most amazing thing I have ever heard and is not only contrary to capitalism and the free enterprise system but defeats the motivation of the bonus program. Why wouldn't you want all employees to earn a 0,000 plus bonus every year?? As a business owner, your company's net worth should go up astronomically assuming the bonus program is based on solid goals and measured properly.
If you believe that no employee should ever make more money than the owner, your company will never be as successful as you want and will probably never achieve many of its goals.
An Incentive Compensation program is the hallmark of all successful small and medium businesses, is truly a win-win for both employees and the company and ensures the future success of your business. Set up properly, it should not be feared as a huge expense for your business. Change is always feared but good employees will thrive in an incentive pay program and retention issues will quickly disappear.
Basketball requires a high degree of physical prowess and it's not surprising to learn than jump height is one of them. Learning to jump higher in basketball can be a long training process that requires not only perseverance, but also the right knowledge as to what muscles to build up. Over the course of your training routine, you should aspire to reach goals, but also learn what muscles you will need to tone and build in order to reach your maximum jump height. From your calves to your thighs and your abs, they're all integral to getting the most of your body.
However, be sure that you don't over work yourself. If you sustain an injury from too much training, it can set you back more than you've gained. Try to train five days a week at most or alternate to reduce the detriments of training.
Exercises To Improve Jump Height
Always keep in mind that you should stretch and warm up before any training. This will prevent your muscles from suffering any injuries and slowing your training down. Furthermore, as you warm up and stretch more, you will be able to perform tougher exercises. There are certain exercises you can do to help the warm up process.
One such exercise is the Knee Bend. Begin in a standing position. From here, crouch down as far as you can, then return to your standing position. This will work out numerous muscles and as time goes on, you can increase how many reps you carry out, starting with 15.
Another few additional exercises are the Knee Bend Jump, an adjustment to the Knee Bend. Instead of simply standing back up, you jump up and then, as you land, return back to the crouching position. This is a higher-intensity exercise and is directly related to the purpose of the training. Additionally, the Toe Raise helps improve the calf muscles and is as simple as standing up, then standing onto the tips of your toes, then returning to your initial position. To increase the intensity, you could add weights to the mix.

The desire for joy, freedom, independence, success.These are emotional hot buttons, we all have them. And a successful internet business can satisfy them. So the hundreds of ads for making money online that you will come across if you have an interest in starting an internet business, will all appeal and push these hot emotional buttons,and because we are the kind of people that want to make things better for ourselves, we can be more easily seduced.
We are give these gurus our trust and often get let down. Because what they are selling us isn't reality.It is a marketing plan they follow to push our buttons and get us to open our wallets. How many of us honestly don't want to be wealthy and free? Which of us doesn't want that. It's what everyone really wants, well obviously there will be a few expectation but on the whole I think it's pretty accurate. Money and freedom.
And we are prepared to chase that dream, and believe people that don't really have our best interests at heart.And then 99 of us out of 100 don't have any success. Why? Because the gurus don't want us to know what the real secret of success is in starting an internet business is, and that is to place yourself right at the centre of your own business by basing it around your own unique areas of passion and experience.
They want you to believe that you need THEIR system, THEIR way of doing things, that what you know and have to offer has no real value whatsoever. Because then you are the ideal customer who will do what they say and buy whatever they recommend, and whenever they have stuff to sell, you will be expected to be begging for it, time after time.
Because there is a ninety nine percent chance of you not making any money, and that keeps you as a good customer for the gurus, and even if you are successful at starting an internet business , there will be 99 just like you that aren't.
But they won't be able to get their claws into you , if you put yourself and your own areas of interest at the centre of your business. If you realize that starting an internet business around a market that you already participate in and know, maybe even without realizing it.
Because you already have areas of passion and interest. Then you are putting yourself firmly in the driving seat and won't need them to hold your hand. No matter what your unique areas of passion and expertise are, you can use them to build a successful online business.
