This video shows how to install Windows 7 (or Windows Vista) from a USB stick or USB hard drive. Copy files using the USB device diskpart to make the partition active and bootsect use to write the boot code. Insert the flash drive and set the computer to boot from USB (see manual) - most new computers should be able to boot from USB. Install Windows as usual from the DVD. This method should work even if your computer via a card reader, including SD cards.If anyone tried using an SD card, let me know if it works!
